This may not be the most beautiful cake but any cake by me is impressive! (Sheldon loved it and that is all that matters)

For great recipes and cakes go see Marie- she is the Czar of Cakes and has many posts dedicated to Pi Day! Enjoy your day 🙂

  1. Beautiful! I am so impressed!
I will post my next lopsided, malformed bakery adventure to show the true nature of my awe! 🙂

  2. Indeed – happy PI day! 🙂 Pi has always made me happy. I know lots of digits, but not the way some people know thousands…

3.1415926535897932384626433827950 is what I can do off the top of my head. That’s 31 digits past the 3. – I add a new digit each year, sometimes more. Just for grins.

“I know lots of digits, but not the way some people know thousands…” Where do you find these people, E? Are these the same ones that can solve the Rubix Cube blindfolded? LOL!

      • How ever did you guess? Seriously – there are competitions for people to recite the most digits of pi… people can go for thousands. The world record is something like 100,000 digits (by a Japanese man) from MEMORY! These people run in circles around me. I can do more digits than my sister, and my dad can go a few more than me. So we do this thing were my sister starts, then I pick up where she left off, then my dad finishes. And yes, the type people who can recite pi to many decimal places are also the same type of people who can solve rubik’s cubes blindfolded and in under 20 seconds. 🙂

I love the image of your family pi digit relay race. It’s almost as good as the image of you & your little friend reciting The Sound of Music & My Fair Lady. Ha! You are seriously cracking me up.

      • I love reading this whole thread of comments! 🙂

  3. Awesome! Love it!
